The nightlife scene in Delhi and NCR(suburbs of Delhi) is getting redefined.Clubs that were once popular are not that happening any more, big names do not necessarily secure success if the soul is lacking. In short people are very clear how and where they want to spend their evenings. The Delhiite knows their mind.
The night scene has hotted up and how, with international DJ s regularly coming to play, interiors matching any posh club abroad,Lady Gaga and Pitbull performing - the competition is both tough and very intense. The bar has been raised and there is a crowd other than the woo stuff too.
International mixologists and wine pairings are also getting popular.People have started enjoying wines and champagnes and know their cristals to a Masi or a barolo. Exquisite wine paired dinners with exclusive guest lists, held in a private dining room or a PDR is on everyone who matters wish list.
The bar scene has seen changes, and few but mostly worthy nightspots have opened since last year. I can't seen to think of any notable closures though. The mall trend continues with smaller bars opening and closing swiftly.
The celebrity, money quotient or ownership doesn't impress anymore. People now know that their choices lie in great food matched with great liquor, wine lists, cocktails, ambiance and music play a very important role as well in making sure that good crowd comes and stays.
As mentioned above, the wine scene is really evolving. People specially go to wine bars and patiently sit through pairing sessions, conducted by trained sommeliers.
So here is the overview of new parting Delhi.
